Beginning of the Seminar "Latin American proposals facing our current global challenges", Mexico City, September 20th and 21st, 2012

25 Sep 2012

photo1-tnUnder the initiative of the Mexican Yearbook of International Law (AMDI), directed by Prof. Manuel Becerra Ramirez and co-organized by Evelyn Tellez Carvajal (Mexico), Maria Angela Sasaki Otani (Peru), Rafael Clemente do Prado Oliveira and Paulo de Tarso Lugon Arantes (Brazil), the prestigious National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), through its Institute for Legal Research (IIJ), as part of its ongoing Seminar of the Mexican Yearbook of International Law (SAMDI), invites the legal community to debate in its Table II on the OHADAC project of regional integration.

The purpose of this event with continental scope, is to encourage researchers and academics from different areas of knowledge in all Latin America and the Caribbean to promote academic production with regional perspective that allows networking of knowledge from our own philosophy and perspective, which results in a better understanding of our reality and especially through providing the right tools to face our regional more problematic issues.

This time the theme of the Seminar is funded by various summits that have been organised in 2012 as the Sixth Summit of the Americas and the Rio +20 Summit, forums in which the highest political leaders of our region meet to analyze and propose solutions to conflicts that affect us all.
