ACP Legal Association, which executes the Organization for Harmonization of Business Law in the Caribbean (OHADAC) Project has signed an Agreement of Cooperation with the Chamber of Conciliation and Arbitration of Haiti (CCAH), on June 1st, 2016.
This agreement signed by Mrs. Catherine Sargenti, President of ACP Legal Association and Mr. Wihelm Lemke, President of the CCAH, represents the official support of the CCAH to the OHADAC project and formalises the collaboration between the two organizations in the implementation of a harmonized framework of business law in the Caribbean.
It is important to note that ACP Legal will be accompanied by the CCAH and all its technical and financial partners to achieve the next steps of the OHADAC project. The OHADAC Project's next steps include the launch of the OHADAC Regional Centre for Arbitration “ORCA” the training for arbitrators and more broadly, the promotion of the OHADAC project to ensure a successful regional integration of the Caribbean countries.
